YORISHIRO - I

The first instalment of two albums sees Yorishiro receive and transmit a visual sound narrative from the island of Shikoku.

Beginning on a sunlit mountaintop and following the adventure of the Iyoki River to its quiet namesake village, the five compositions invite us into a world inhabited by nature and its voices.

Drifting somewhere between reality and myth, the album comes to a luminous end as the final march of the fireflies sounds out.
